Just in time for summer vacation, the seventh print special issue of Svoboda & Williams’ lifestyle magazine, devoted to travel, is now available. Its creators unveiled it at the studio of jeweler Zdeněk Vacek.
The party in the studio of one of the leading Czech jewelers was a celebration of Zdeněk Vacek’s life and artistry. The face of Selected by Svoboda & Williams’ summer issue, the distinctive artist is currently preparing his biggest exhibition to date for the fall Designblok fair. His concept for his section is a look back at the journey defined by a search for balance between order and spontaneity. Believe me, you have plenty to look forward to.
The magazine also contains an intimate interview with Zdeněk and invites readers on many other travels, whether it’s the metaphorical trajectories of Czech and foreign creative personalities, including an interview with photographer Mary McCartney whose exhibition will be on view at the Rudolfinum in the fall, or real expeditions to foreign countries. With Selected, you can cool down on hot summer days with photos of Antarctica, where photographer Ivo Simon went, enjoy images from a safari in Tanzania, experience a family trip to Japan, or visit the locations of the new film by award-winning director Slávek Horák.
We wish you bon voyage!
